It is noted that the decision was taken in pursuance of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of the country for 2013–2017, as well as for the stable development of the food and processing industry, the fuller use of existing production capacities and the involvement of labor resources in production.
The program is designed to create the necessary conditions for modernization of the industry, solution of financial, economic and social problems. The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan was entrusted with implementation of the program.
