Almazbek Atambayev informed about situation in religious sphere of Kyrgyzstan
President Almazbek Atambayev received the director of the State Commission for Religious Affairs Zaiyrbek Ergeshov and mufti Maksat azhy Toktomushev, the Information Policy Department of the President’s Office reported.
According to it, Zaiyrbek Ergeshov spoke about reforms in religious education, about joint efforts of the state, Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan and religious leaders in countering radicalization and extremism in the country.
