Criminal case initiated against lawyers of Omurbek Tekebayev
Criminal case for false denunciation was initiated against lawyers of Ata Meken leader Omurbek Tekebayev, Kanat Aziz and Taalaigul Toktakunova.
As Kanat Aziz told 24.kg news agency, they are not familiar with the case so far . «But there is a supposal that the case was opened for our appeal to the Prosecutor General's Office on giving a legal assessment to the statements of the head of state and conducting forensic medical examination," the lawyer said.
Earlier, they were invited to the General Prosecutor’s Office. «They took explanatory notes in accusatory tone. So we turned to the Prosecutor General's Office and are punished for this," Kanat Aziz said.
