Kyrgyz-Turkish lyceums Sebat renamed into Sapat

The Kyrgyz-Turkish lyceums Sebat were renamed into Sapat in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the educational institution reported.

According to it, a new charter was developed, which was registered at the Ministry of Justice.

«Rebranding and corporate identity issues have not been resolved yet and are now at the approval stage," the press service noted.

Recall, in the summer of 2016, Turkey raised issue of closure of Kyrgyz-Turkish lyceums, which are allegedly related to the preacher Fethullah Gülen, who lives in the United States.

The President of the Kyrgyz Republic said at a press conference in December 2016 that the Ministry of Education would become the founder of Sebat. He said that the schools would be renamed into Sapat, but they would not be closed.
