Deputy Zhanar Akayev expelled from SDPK faction
Deputy Zhanar Akayev was expelled from SDPK parliamentary faction. The Social Democrat Marat Amankulov informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the decision was made today at a closed meeting of the faction. Marat Amankulov explained that the behavior and position of the deputy are contrary to the line of the Social Democrats. «But he remains a deputy until he surrenders the mandate by himself," Marat Amankulov said.
Earlier, the President Almazbek Atambayev said that no one can take away the deputy mandate from Zhanar Akayev, only he can refuse it.
Zhanar Akayev himself said that he would make a decision after consultations with voters, and added that he did not intend to resign under pressure.
The day before, the political council of SDPK expelled the deputy Zhanar Akayev from the faction.
