Civil activists state about illegality of demonstrators’ detention
Civil activists stated about illegally of detention of demonstrators for political rights and in support of freedom of speech in Bishkek on March 18. They told at a press conference in 24.kg news agency.
According to them, this detention can be considered as an act of intimidation, and as evidence of inexperience of police officers and special services. Political scientist Tabyldy Akerov claims that the judge of Sverdlovsky court of the capital Sanzhar Chotonov was instructed «from above» to detain demonstrators for five days.
