34 residential houses to be demolished for construction of Dostuk checkpoint

About 34 residential houses will be demolished for construction of Dostuk checkpoint on the territory of Kyzyl-Kyshtak rural area of Kara-Suu district, Osh region. The State Customs Service reported.

Within the accession to the Eurasian Economic Union and in accordance with the Agreement between the Governments of the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic on providing technical assistance dated March 31, 2015, checkpoints are established in the Kyrgyz section of EEU customs border.

Car checkpoints are supposed to be equipped with inspection complexes and facilities for other types of control which require special hangars, access roads and other relevant infrastructure facilities.

Licensed appraisers' companies were involved in independent evaluation, agreements with the owners of these plots were reached and appropriate purchase agreements were drawn up.

Land plots with buildings will be bought from local residents within the framework of an intergovernmental agreement. The funds should come from the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation to the account of the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic.
