Prosecutor General Indira Dzoldubaeva filed the second lawsuit against Zanoza.kg and Azattyk. But the trial will be held in Leninskiy District Court. The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

Recall, one of the Turkish media reported that Omurbek Tekebayev met in Cyprus with former Kyrgyz president Kurmanbek Bakiyev and ex-deputy of Parliament Sadyr Zhaparov. Zanoza.kg wondered what Omurbek Tekebayev was doing in Cyprus. He denied the fact of meeting with Zhaparov and Bakiyev. A similar question was asked by Azattyk.

The main supervisory body of the country took Tekebaev’s answers as offensive and damaging the reputation of Almazbek Atambayev. The agency specified that when publishing the replies of the people’s deputy, journalists deliberately distorted their meaning with the aim to blacken the President.

Note, this is the second lawsuit against information resources from the President for the last three days. According to the first suit, Azattyk is a co-defendant. Defendants are lawyers of Ata Meken leader Omurbek Tekebayev — Kanatbek Aziz and Taalaygul Toktakunova. According to the first lawsuit, it is also planned to recover 10 million soms from Azattyk, and 3 million — from Zanoza.

These agencies published documents referring to the lawyers of Ata Meken, who voiced the information at a press conference that the contraband cargo on board of the crashed Turkish aircraft allegedly belonged to the family of the President of the country.

Omurbek Tekebayev was taken into custody until April 25. He is accused of corruption and fraud.

Earlier, he said that the government hided from the people the truth about the cargo on board of Turkish Boeing 747, which crashed on January 16.
