Tekebayev's lawyers to appeal against measure of restraint to Supreme Court
Lawyers of Ata Meken leader Omurbek Tekebayev will appeal to the Supreme Court against the decision on the measure of restraint for their client. The lawyers themselves informed 24.kg news agency.
According to them, the appeal will be filed one of these days. The day before, circuit session of Bishkek City Court remanded the leader of Ata Meken Omurbek Tekebayev in custody in pretrial detention center of GKNB until April 25. Lawyers defending his interests insist on house arrest.
Omurbek Tekebayev is accused of corruption and fraud.
