President calls to unite under national flag of Kyrgyzstan
Kyrgyzstan marks the National Flag Day today. It was established 25 years ago, when one of the main symbols of the state and independence was approved.
«It is encouraging that our national flag is increasingly hoisted at the large international political, economic, cultural and sports activities throughout the world, causing the pride of the country and raising patriotism of the citizens. We showed the height of the spirit of Kyrgyzstanis, our dignity and resistance. We have proved that we can build a free and prosperous country," the statement says.
Almazbek Atambayev recalled that «according to recent estimates by international organizations, Kyrgyzstan is among the few countries with a high level of freedom.»
«I am confident that together we will strengthen the state, preserve the unity and harmony of the people, firmly follow the path of sustainable development and improvement of the welfare of Kyrgyzstanis," Almazbek Atambayev noted.
