Otmok pass on Bishkek — Talas road is closed on February 24 from 11.00 a.m. till 3.00 p.m., the press service of Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
According to it, the decision was made in connection with a forced triggering of avalanche on the pass.
As the press service of the Ministry said to 24.kg news agency, if the amount of snow is little, then the road will be opened at the scheduled time. If the amount of snow is huge, the pass will be closed for longer time.
