Kyrgyz MPs offer to publish single list of terrorist organizations
It is offered to publish a single list of banned terrorist organizations in the state publications in Kyrgyzstan. Amendments to the Law on Combating Terrorism were submitted to Parliament for consideration.
According to the deputies- initiators, various organizations, cults, sects, which may recruit the youth of the republic in radical groups, are quite common at the time.
«Kyrgyzstan has a single list of terrorist organizations. However, compulsory periodic informing of the population about them through state official publications is not planned," background statement stated.
«It is made in order the younger generation (school children, students, and others) to be aware of these organizations. Thus, unhealthy interest of young people to radical groups will reduce," the MPs believe.
