Cartoons in Kyrgyz language to be screened in public transport in Bishkek
Cartoons in the Kyrgyz language will be screened on monitors installed in public transport in Bishkek. The Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of the Bishkek City Hall reported.
According to it, the decision was made following a meeting with the participation of the Chairman of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President Kanybek Osmonaliev, Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Maksatbek Sazykulov, Head of the State Language Development Department of the Bishkek City Hall Elvira Niyazbekova, Acting Head of the Bishkek Passenger Motor Transport Enterprise Talant Kaparov and representatives of the road sector.
«The decision was made in order to execute the constitutional law of the Kyrgyz Republic on the state language,» the department reported.
