Parliament of Kyrgyzstan elects new judges of Supreme Court
Deputies considered the issue of electing judges of the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan at Wednesday’s meeting of Parliament.
Permanent Representative of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers in the Parliament Almasbek Abytov noted that Elmira Baytikova, Erkinbek Mamyrov and Mederbek Satyev were nominated for the positions of judges of the Supreme Court of the Kyrgyz Republic. They were recommended by the head of state.
As a result of the discussion, the deputies elected Elmira Baytikova and Mederbek Satyev to the positions of judges of the Supreme Court.
Parliament adopted a corresponding resolution. The elected judges took the oath of office in the Parliament.
