New buses stop working in Jalal-Abad due to lack of fuel
New buses stopped running in Jalal-Abad due to the lack of methane, which was purchased in Uzbekistan. Azattyk reports with reference to the press service of the City Hall.
The municipality noted that gas pressure decreased due to the cold weather and long queues for fuel formed in the Republic of Uzbekistan itself.
«Negotiations are underway with investors from the neighboring country; construction of a gas filling station began in Suzak district. However, it has not yet been completed,» the City Hall added.
There is no methane filling station in Jalal-Abad. Passenger bus drivers are forced to travel to Uzbekistan to refuel.
The President Sadyr Japarov handed over 50 buses to Jalal-Abad in October.
