Ex-head of Severnaya customs Nurbek Aibashev brought to Bishkek
The former head of Severnaya customs, Nurbek Aibashev, was taken to Kyrgyzstan. The law enforcement agencies reported.
In 2022, the former head of Severnaya customs fled the country during his trial. He was transported from Turkey to Bishkek and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Nurbek Aibashev was detained on May 25, 2018 on suspicion of abuse of official position. According to investigators, with the assistance of him and other customs officials, the companies evaded duties and other necessary payments.
There are 15 people involved in the case. They are accused of negligence and corruption.
