Kyrgyzstan and Qatar to cooperate in military field
The Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security and Migration of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan adopted in the second reading a bill on ratification of an agreement with the government of Qatar on cooperation in the military field.
Information about the bill was provided by Deputy Minister of Defense Erlis Terdikbaev.
According to him, within the framework of the document, military personnel of Kyrgyzstan will have the opportunity to participate in educational projects, short-term courses, exercises, training and competitions. Projects on improvement of infrastructure and construction of facilities for the armed forces of the Kyrgyz Republic and provision of gratuitous military-technical assistance by the Qatari side may be initiated.
