In total, activists organized 43 environmental landings, collected and transported 109 cubic meters of garbage to solid waste landfills (that’s about five KAMAZ trucks). The most active participants were employees of specially protected natural areas, members of children’s and youth eco-clubs, schoolchildren, students, representatives of various organizations and local residents,» the reserve representatives said.
Kyrgyz environmentalists held campaigns to clean up natural sites, routes, trails and recreation areas of Karatal-Zhapyryk Nature Reserve and Khan Tengri Nature Park.
