National Bank approves size of authorized capital of credit bureaus
The Board of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan adopted a resolution on the minimum amount of the authorized capital of credit bureaus. The bank’s website says.
Previously, there were no requirements in the country about its size. It has now been decided to set the size of the minimum authorized capital for newly created credit bureaus in the amount of at least 50 million soms.
For existing credit bureaus, deadlines have been set for the gradual increase of capital:
- Until January 1, 2025 — at least 10 million soms;
- Until January 1, 2026 — at least 30 million soms;
- Until January 1, 2027 — at least 50 million soms.
