World-class mountain complex to be built in Kyrgyzstan
Construction of the country’s first world-class mountain complex Karkyra was launched today with the participation of the head of state. The Director of the National Agency for Investments Talantbek Imanov announced on social media.
According to him, it is planned to create a year-round mountain complex with the status of a recreational area for up to 5,000 people.
The project will be implemented by Karkyra Eco-Сity LLC. The cost is more than $191 million.
The total length of ski slopes will be more than 100 kilometers, cable way — 20.7 kilometers.
Karkyra complex will be designed and built in accordance with the norms of environmental legislation of Kyrgyzstan and international environmental standards and requirements of the International Ski Federation FIS.
