Kyrgyzstan joins Bureau of UN Economic Commission for Europe
Director of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center Sanzhar Bolotov took part in the seventh session of the PPP working group organized by the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) in Geneva (Switzerland). The press service of the agency reported.
Sanzhar Bolotov acted as one of the keynote speakers of the session. One of the key issues on the agenda was the election of new members of the UNECE Bureau. As a result of voting, Kyrgyzstan was included in the new composition. Representatives of Canada, Italy, Haiti and Greece also became members of the Bureau.
«Kyrgyzstan for the first time in history became a member of the UNECE Bureau on public-private partnership. This will expand the current cooperation with the UNECE and other international organizations, as well as create new opportunities for the development of PPPs in Kyrgyzstan,» the statement says.
