Aigul Japarova attends Cinema Heritage Film Festival in Paris
The First Lady of Kyrgyzstan attended the opening ceremony of the First International Film Festival Cinema Heritage. It takes place in Paris under the auspices of UNESCO.
The ceremony held at UNESCO headquarters, was, in addition to Aigul Japarova, attended by UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Priority Africa and External Relations Anthony Ohemeng-Boamah, legendary Chinese film director Zhang Yimou, Turkish film director, winner of the Golden Bear — the highest award of the Berlin Film Festival — Semih Kaplanoğlu and others.
One of the initiators of the Cinema Heritage Film Festival is the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to France Sadyk Sher-Niyaz.
The festival is held by Aitysh France Association with the participation of representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in France.
