400 people receive pension of over 50,000 soms in Kyrgyzstan
At least 400 people receive a pension of more than 50,000 soms. Chairman of the Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan Bakhtiyar Aliev announced a meeting of the Committee on Budget, Economic and Fiscal Policy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, the average pension today is 9,300 soms.
«Before the increase, the average pension was 7,800 soms, five years ago — 4,700 soms. Pension of those who receive 30,000 soms was not increased,» the official said, not answering the deputies’ question about the size of the highest pension in Kyrgyzstan.
