SCNS Chairman instructs to step up work on prevention of domestic violence
Kamchybek Tashiev drew attention to cases of domestic violence in Kyrgyzstan at the opening of the building of the department of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) in Panfilov district.
He instructed to step up work to counteract domestic violence, particularly in rural areas.
«Work together with district police officers, check in which house there is violence against women and children. People’s mental health has deteriorated. Previously, we could scold a little, even beat a child a little, but the children understood it correctly. But now children are raped and abused, women are beaten, even killed. This is one of the negative indicators in society today. Pay attention to it,» he said.
The head of the SCNS also instructed to carry out preventive work against domestic violence.
