All banks set ruble selling rate slightly above Kyrgyz som
All commercial banks and exchange offices in Bishkek have set the selling rate of the Russian ruble slightly above the som.
Today, the ruble is bought for 0.98-0.99 som and sold for 1.01-1.02 soms. The nominal rate was set at 1.044 soms (1.33 percent growth).
Exchange rate of the Russian ruble has become higher than that of Kyrgyz som for the first time since early July. Before that, it cost less than the national currency of Kyrgyzstan for more than four months. The ruble is appreciating for the third day in a row.
