Labeling of goods: Duration of pilot projects proposed to be extended
It is proposed to amend some decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan in the field of labeling. The document was submitted for public discussion by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce.
The ministry proposes to extend until the end of 2024 the pilot project for the digital administration of excise tax on alcohol and tobacco products, as well as the pilot project for labeling.
It is planned to postpone the introduction of labeling for energy soft drinks until April 2024.
The Ministry of Economy wants to exempt from the obligation to affix excise stamps to national drinks (bozo, maksym and zharma).
