Over 12,400 Kyrgyzstanis legally employed abroad
Over 12,400 people were legally employed abroad for nine months. The Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration reported.
«The ministry’s representative office in Moscow helped return unpaid wages to about 300 Kyrgyzstanis in the amount of over 20 million rubles. Another 6,000 people were consulted on issues of migration legislation,» the head of the ministry, Gulnara Baatyrova, said.
According to her, in order to assist labor migrants, an institute of public representatives has been formed to assist in protecting the rights of Kyrgyzstanis. Currently, there are already 96 public representatives of the department in the Russian Federation, the Federal Republic of Germany and Ukraine.
