MP Shailoobek Atazov summoned for interrogation by SCNS
Deputy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Shailoobek Atazov was summoned for interrogation by the State Committee for National Security (SCNS). This is reported on Facebook.
According to the sources of 24.kg news agency, he will be questioned in the framework of the criminal case on bribery of voters in the elections in the single-mandate constituency, where he ran for deputy.
Shayloobek Atazov himself denies that he was involved in vote buying.
Earlier he told that his supporters during the elections in Sverdlovsky constituency had been tortured for 3-4 hours in a temporary detention center for several days.
«According to my information, they are asked to say that Raiymbek Matraimov (ex-customs officer — Note of 24.kg news agency) allegedly gave money during the elections. Their parents came to me in tears,» Shailoobek Atazov posted.
He said that he became a deputy of Parliament «thanks to the support of God, people, friends, youth, athletes and mass media», for which he is grateful to them.
