Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers visits Bishkek HPP
Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov checked the readiness of the capital’s heating and power plant (HPP) for the autumn-winter period and reminded of responsibility for the disruption of the heating season. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Akylbek Japarov inspected the main units of the HPP, a warehouse for storing coal and noted that the corresponding structures must work in enhanced mode after supplying heat to the houses of citizens.
He instructed the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Bishkek City Hall, as well as other relevant government agencies to form a group for rapid response in case of an emergency at the HPP and other places involved in the supply of heat energy.
«Emergency situations should not be allowed; we must always be one step ahead. Forecasters predict warm weather until the end of November, we need to check everything again. The HPP is more than 60 years old, so the maximum possible emergency reserve must be prepared for each equipment. You must be prepared for different situations,» the head of the Cabinet said.
He also set the task for the relevant government agencies to ensure an uninterrupted supply of heat to the homes of citizens.
