Deputy of rural council detained for unauthorized seizure of land plot
Facts of illegal seizure of land plots have been revealed in Kyrgyzstan. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, a resident of Moskovsky district of Chui region, who is a deputy of the local council, using his powers, in the absence of a duly executed document for the right of use, gave instructions for the unauthorized seizure and cultivation of an arable land plot with a total area of 55 hectares, which belongs to the local rural council.
Based on the collected materials, a criminal case was initiated (unauthorized seizure of someone’s land).
During active search measures, the current deputy of the rural council and a part-time chairman of a peasant farm was detained. He was placed in the temporary detention center of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.
An investigation is underway.
