Zhyldyz Kozhobekova: Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship of CIS is going on actively
«Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship of the Eurasian Economic Union is going on actively, many events have been initiated,» Deputy Director of the First Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zhyldyz Kozhobekova said during a briefing.
According to her, on October 26, 2023, Bishkek will host the 22nd meeting of the Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the next meeting of the CIS Prime Ministers.
«Traditionally, issues of trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation will be discussed. It is planned to sign about 19 documents, including issues in the field of energy, reclamation of uranium mining territories, the 80th anniversary of victory in WWII, the establishment of the CIS championship and other issues,» Zhyldyz Kozhobekova said.
