President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov opened a new Asyl sports complex in Kyzyl-Adyr village, Aitmatov district, Talas region. The press service of the head of state reported.

The complex has all the necessary administrative and utility premises and a gym. There is equipment for training and holding of sports competitions. The complex is designed for both daily training and periodic recreational and sports events in various sports.

In particular, there are halls for such sports classes as basketball, volleyball, futsal, wrestling, boxing, and others.

Congratulating on the joyful event, Sadyr Japarov expressed confidence that the Asyl complex would contribute to the sporting achievements of the district, region and the country as a whole.

The head of state, mentioning the opening of the complex as one of the successful achievements of the region, briefly told about naming it after Chingiz Aitmatov.

«The request of the majority of people was satisfied, and this district of Talas region, within the framework of the law, was named after our great writer Chingiz Aitmatov. To strengthen our national ideology and educate youth in the spirit of patriotism, we must always remember our great writer — a planetary personality. Always remember that bearing the name of our classic, whose works are known throughout the world and read by millions of people, is a huge responsibility for local residents,» the head of state said.

Sadyr Japarov told about positive changes in this district, which today is the largest exporter of beans and dairy products in the region, in particular, about the allocation of millions to provide irrigation water to thousands of hectares of cultivated areas, the construction of Sarymsak and Baktuu-Nogoi canals. He also focused on the transformation of rural land plots and planning the construction of small hydroelectric power stations in the region.

The head of state thanked the General Director of Gazprom Kyrgyzstan LLC Bolot Abildaev, who, without rejecting the appeals of the youth of the district center, at his own expense built the modern complex with the necessary conditions for holding various sporting events.
