Nature Development Fund unreasonably finances projects for 758 million soms
Financial violations in the amount of 810,256.8 million soms were revealed in the Nature Development Fund. The Accounts Chamber of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Report on the audit of compliance of the activities of the Nature Development Fund under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision for 2019-2022 was considered at a regular meeting of the Council of the Accounts Chamber.
Violations and shortcomings in the expenditure of financial resources of the fund itself for 51,835 million soms were revealed.
In addition, the expert commission for evaluation and selection of projects/programs on environmental protection and preservation of natural wealth unreasonably approved the financing of projects of public, commercial and individual entrepreneurs, which entailed spending of 758,421.8 million soms.
As the Accounting Chamber reported, reports on the results of the audit will be sent to the State Committee for National Security.
