Sadyr Japarov does not attend One Belt, One Road Forum in China
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov did not go to One Belt, One Road International Cooperation Forum, which takes place in Beijing on October 17-18. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
«Taking into account the workload and density of the schedule, taking into account the holding of a number of important multilateral and bilateral high-level events in Kyrgyzstan in October 2023, such as the summit of the CIS Heads of State, the meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the SCO countries, the official visit of the Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Qiang to Kyrgyzstan and the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the participation of the Kyrgyz side in the forum at the highest level was not planned,» the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
Kyrgyzstan is represented at the forum by the Minister of Energy Taalaibek Ibraev and the Chairman of the State Customs Service Samat Isabekov. They participate in thematic forums.
