Kyrgyzstani wins silver in chess among head judges at Asian Games
Kyrgyzstani Aziz Umarbekov won a silver medal in chess among the head judges at the Asian Games. The Chess Union of the Kyrgyz Republic reported on Instagram.
«In a struggle among 35 head judges, including international masters, FIDE masters and Arena grandmasters, Aziz Umarbekov was able to rise from the 11th starting position after seven rounds to the second line of the final table, making only two draws, like the tournament winner. But he lost on additional indicators,» the Union noted.
