Two Kyrgyzstanis to compete for bronze medals at Asian Games in China
Athletes from Kyrgyzstan Razzak Beishekeyev and Atabek Azisbekov will compete for bronze medals at the Asian Games in China. The Games’ website reports.
Razzak Beishekeyev lost to a wrestler from Japan in the weight category up to 67 kilograms in the 1/4 finals, who reached the finals. He defeated Firuz Mirzoradzhabov from Tajikistan during the consolation tournament.
His opponent will be a wrestler from Uzbekistan.
Atabek Azisbekov lost the first fight in the weight category up to 87 kilograms to a wrestler from Iran, who reached the final. The Kyrgyzstani defeated an athlete from Turkmenistan during the consolation tournament.
His opponent will be a wrestler from India.
The fight for third place will take place today after 3 p.m. Bishkek time.
Two more representatives of Kyrgyzstan will compete for gold medals at the Asian Games today. Zholaman Sharshenbekov and Akzhol Makhmudov reached the finals.
