Kyrgyzstan plans cooperation with Electricite de France
Kyrgyzstan plans to cooperate with Electricite de France. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Aibek Moldogaziev met with representative of the largest state-owned energy generating company in France, Electricite de France (EDF) in Central Asia, Pierre-Paul Antheunissens and the French Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic François Delaus in Bishkek.
The parties discussed economic cooperation in the energy sector and noted mutual interest in implementation of joint projects in Kyrgyzstan with the participation of EDF, as well as further steps in this direction.
They also considered issues of bilateral partnership, interaction within international organizations and intensification of political dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and France.
