Fire with casualties in Iraq: Sadyr Japarov expresses condolences
President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov sent a telegram of condolences to the head of Iraq, Abdullatif Jamal Rashid, in connection with human casualties as a result of a fire in Nineveh province.
«I received with deep sorrow the news of the loss of life as a result of a major fire in a restaurant in Nineveh province, which occurred on September 27 of this year. I express my deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. I wish a speedy recovery to all those injured! We share the pain of irreparable loss,» the text says.
More than 100 people were killed and at least 150 were injured in a fire that broke out during a wedding celebration in Nineveh province in northern Iraq. Doctors confirmed that the bride and groom were among the dead.
