Man who cut off ex-wife's ears and nose placed in detention center in Bishkek
A man who cut off the ears and nose of his ex-wife was placed in pre-trial detention center No. 1 in Bishkek. The Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region reported.
This decision was made by the Sokuluk District Court. The accused was taken into custody for two months.
On September 20, a 36-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital with stab wounds. The fact was registered under Article 130 «Causing grievous harm to health» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. A criminal case has been opened. The 39-year-old man was detained in connection with the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
The patient was transferred from intensive care unit to the department of maxillofacial surgery.
