Childbirth with partner canceled in Kyrgyzstan
The Health Minister of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev said at a meeting of Ata Jurt Kyrgyzstan faction that childbirths with the partner have been canceled in the country.
MP Nadira Narmatova said that men should not be allowed to attend childbirth.
«We should remove this protocol and ban men from attending childbirth. Number of Caesarean sections and ruptures has increased because of this,» she said.
The minister replied that they have returned to the old system. Childbirths with the partner have been canceled.
