New head of Antimonopoly Regulation Service appointed again
Former member of Parliament Gulshat Asylbaeva was appointed a Chairwoman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The corresponding order was signed by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Akylbek Japarov.
Aibek Mamyraliev was appointed to the post of the Chairman of the Antimonopoly Regulation Service on Wednesday. He has been dismissed today.
Gulshat Asylbayeva is known for initiating the so-called law on fakes («On protection against the dissemination of inaccurate (false) information»), which was supposed to fight fakes on social media. Not a single fake account has been blocked yet. The authorities use it to shut down independent media.
