City Hall plans to remove all minibuses from center of Bishkek in 2024
As soon as all 1,300 buses are delivered to Bishkek, minibuses will be removed from the central part of Bishkek. Deputy Mayor of the capital Maksat Sazykulov told journalists.
According to him, the central part is a square bounded by Kurmanjan Datka Street — Southern Highway — Sadyrbaev Street — Zhibek Zholu Avenue.
«When all the buses arrive, the needs of the city will be met. Minibuses will become redundant and will run on the outskirts of the capital,» the official said.
He also noted that, presumably, buses will replace minibuses in the second half of next year.
