SCNS detains Chief Inspector of Special Inspection Department of Tax Service
The Chief Inspector of the Department of Special Inspections of the Tax Service for Issyk-Kul region was detained. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
The tax official was detained while taking a bribe of 50,000 soms from a private entrepreneur. A criminal case has been initiated on the fact under article 343 «Extortion» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The employee of the Tax Service demanded the money for a positive decision on the installation of a cash register. Otherwise, he threatened to impose fines and additional tax charges.
Appropriate operational and investigative measures are being taken.
