Works of Chingiz Aitmatov translated into Georgian language
Works of the People’s Writer of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aitmatov were included in the collection of works and translated into Georgian. The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Azerbaijan and Georgia reports.
The book was published on the initiative of the diplomatic mission with the support of honorary consuls, and is dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the great writer.
The introduction was written by the son of Chingiz Aitmatov, ex-minister of foreign affairs of Kyrgyzstan Askar Aitmatov.
The collection will be presented in autumn in Tbilisi. It includeы the stories «The First Teacher», «My Poplar in a Red Headscarf» and «The White Steamship».
