Meeting of working groups of Kyrgyz-Uzbek demarcation commission held
Meeting of working groups of government delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan as part of the joint Kyrgyz-Uzbek demarcation commission was held from August 13 to August 19, 2023 in Cholpon-Ata city. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
During the talks, the parties discussed issues of demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border, and conducted preparatory work on the creation of a special (common) geodetic network for demarcation works.
«The talks were held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding. The relevant protocol was signed based on the results of the meeting,» the statement says.
