Man beaten and held hostage for five days in Suzak district
A man was beaten and held hostage for five days, extorting money, in Suzak. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
A resident of Alai district of Osh region turned to the police on August 16. The man told that on the night of August 8 four guys took 3,500 soms from him in Atabekov village, Suzak district. After that he was beaten, extorted money and kept for five days by force in one of the private houses.
A criminal case was initiated on the fact under articles 169 «Illegal deprivation of liberty» and 206 «Robbery» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Involvement of the detainees in previously unsolved crimes is being checked.
