Cabinet plans to buy special equipment from Hyundai on installment plan
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev met with managers of Hyundai Construction Equipment and Asiamotors. Press service of the Cabinet reported.
The meeting was organized in accordance with the instructions of the President on the protection of investors and their comprehensive support. It was mainly about providing the relevant ministries of Kyrgyzstan with road-building machines and irrigation equipment produced by these companies.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet suggested the company’s management to jointly develop a mechanism for the purchase of special equipment on a long-term interest-free installment plan.
«In accordance with the instructions of the President of the country, projects are being implemented for the construction of roads and railways, rehabilitation of old ones, as well as the development of the agricultural sector. For example, 1 billion soms are provided from the republican budget for the purchase of special equipment for the irrigation industry in 2023-2026. To improve the country’s road network, the Ministry of Transport and Communications has been allocated a large amount of funds from the republican budget and new equipment is purchased,» the statement says.
