Chief accountant of Bishkekgorlift detained for attempted bribery
Chief accountant of one of the municipal enterprises of the Bishkek City Hall attempted to bribe an employee of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) for termination of consideration of an application on financial violations. Press center of SCNS reported.
A number of financial violations were previously revealed at the municipal enterprise. In order to hide them, the chief accountant tried to give a bribe in the amount of 50,000 soms.
«A criminal case was initiated under the article «Giving a bribe» of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The employee was caught red-handed. A number of investigative and operational measures are being carried out on the initiated criminal case,» the SCNS said.
Own sources informed 24.kg news agency that the employee of Bishkekgorlift municipal enterprise was detained.
