Manaschi Doolot Sydykov to recite Manas epic for 3 days in row in Osh city
Manaschi Doolot Sydykov will be reciting Manas epic for three days in a row. Press service of the City Hall of Osh reported.
The reciting starts today in Sulaiman-Too national archaeological museum. The manaschi thanked everyone for their support and help in organizing the event.
The Kyrgyz epic of Manas was included in the UNESCOIntangible Cultural Heritage list. This decision was made during the eighth meeting of the UNESCO Intergovernmental Committee. It is also listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the greatest epic in the world.
Earlier, Doolot Sydykov continuously recited the epic for 14 hours and 27 minutes in Bishkek city.
