Deputy Marat Amankulov suspected of illegal enrichment
The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) revealed facts of illegal enrichment by the deputy of the Parliament A.M.A. Press center of the SCNS reported.
This is presumably a deputy of SDPK faction Marat Amankulov.
It was found out that during the period of his political activity the deputy amassed expensive movable and immovable property, the total value of which actually exceeds his official income many times.
In order to conceal his shadow assets, he registered his close relatives and affiliated persons who did not have officially confirmed income as their owners.
From SCNS statement
A shopping and entertainment complex, 14 land plots located in Bishkek and Issyk-Kul region, three office and four non-residential premises, five apartments, a cottage at Kapriz recreation center, three mansions, as well as five luxury cars have been found. The total average market value of these assets is more than 1.5 billion soms.
It is assumed that the deputy significantly increased his assets by using his political influence in the Bishkek City Council and Parliament from 2008 to 2020.
